Perimeter Spacer
Stainless steel, perimeter spacers are an accessory required when installing Fixed Head and/or Self Levelling Pedestals.
One spacer is placed onto each pedestal running along a perimeter wall or upstand and an additional one on each corner pedestal.
The spacer has a curved exterior spring plate enabling paving tiles to be locked in position. This helps to avoid direct contact between the paving tile and the perimeter wall.
The gap between the perimeter edge/vertical abutment and the paver must be between 5-6mm for the tension spring to do it’s job effectively. Anything larger will create too much slack, meaning the pavers are likely to move.
